Yes — free forever, no card required. It's capped at 10 tables and 5,000 rows per seed, which covers most side projects and plenty of real work. You can run as many preview databases as you like; they just expire after an hour.
What counts as a “row”?
A generated row in a seeded database. Reading rows, joining them, deleting them — none of that counts. Only the initial insert. If you generate 50,000 users and then query them a million times, that's 50,000 rows.
Do I need a paid plan to use the CLI?
No. The CLI is open-source (MIT) and works against any Postgres URL. The free tier gives you access to our hosted ephemeral databases; if you only ever seed your own DBs, you don't need an account at all.
Can I cancel any time?
Any time. We prorate. No “contact sales” to downgrade. Your saved seed specs stay accessible on the free tier.
What's included in Team?
Everything in Pro, plus a shared seed library for your org, 7-day preview TTLs, SSO (Google / Okta / generic SAML), and audit logs. Priority support via a shared Slack channel.
